Product Description

A self-clinching nut is a type of threaded fastener with a knurl and a groove that is permanently embedded into a sheet of metal by applying a parallel squeezing force. The knurl displaces the surrounding metal, which flows into an undercut on the nut, creating a strong, integrated mechanical lock that resists high push-out and torque. This allows for the creation of strong, reusable female threads in panels that are too thin to be tapped conventionally
